Music Ministry Programs

We welcome anyone interested in learning more about our music programs. Our mission is to praise God through prayer and song and to promote the full, conscious and active participation of all in our liturgical celebrations. We have choirs for various age groups that sing a broad range of music styles from chant to traditional hymns to contemporary works. Come share your love of God through song with us! The Adult Choir leads music at the 9:30 Sunday Mass from September through Pentecost. We rehearse Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the choir loft.

Junior Voices for Christ is for students in Grades Three through Seven. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:00- 7:45 in Room D of St. Joseph Hall. We sing once a month, as well as lead the music for the Christmas Eve Family Mass and Easter Sunday. This choir sings a wide variety of musical styles. We'll begin to learn to read music, how our voices work, and how to sing with a group in 2 and 3-part music.

Wee Servants is a fabulous program created especially for our youngest parishioners. All Children in K- through Grade Two are invited to join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 6:45 in Room D of St. Joseph Hall. Each week we hear a bible story, or learn about something special and unique of our Catholic faith. We will then work on a related craft project and sing music to tie everything together. We will begin to learn our prayers and other important things in a fun, safe and exciting setting.

Cantors serve on a rotating schedule at the invitation of the director. Cantors are required to participate in the Adult Choir, and possess a desire to lead and love the people with a heart filled to praise God. Cantors must be willing to spend additional time practicing their music in order to lead the people with confidence.
